Instructions

Person sharing files

1. Navigate to the share page.
2. Click "Select shared directory" to choose folder containing shared files.
3. Click "Activate Sharing" to enable file sharing.
4. Provide the access code generated under "Local Access Code" to remote user.

Person accessing files

1. Navigate to the access page.
2. Enter the access code provided by the sharer under "Remote Access Code".
3. Click "Select download directory" to pick the folder where you wish to place downloaded files.
4. Click "Connect" to contact remote computer.
5. Select files you wish to download under "Remote files".
6. Click "Download". This will commence the downloading. A prompt will appear once everything is downloaded.

Notice:

This is intended as quick tool for transferring files if you are on the same network (e.g. home network, a corporate LAN etc.). It will not work for transfers across the internet. (If it does, then you have a very insecure computer!)

Requires Java to be installed.
